This puzzle is all about MAP usage. Three units need to kill 7 enemies in one turn. First, Ra Cailum attacks the far north east Taurus with its most powerful attack. Next, Big O uses Valor (2x damage), then its MAP attack to the west. Finally, Heavyarms uses Valor and its MAP attack to hit as many units on the west as possible. This will give you the kills needed to beat the puzzle. Ra Cailum’s own MAP attack is a red herring.

Victory nets 20k money and another Hit & Away skill part.

Hope y’all like unagi, because Beck brought some fresh eels. As most of the map is in water, I choose to intercept the enemies on the shoreline with Shin Getter 3, since it’ll be underused for most of the game. If you couldn’t tell, the objective is to not let any enemy touch the power plant. The only other thing to note is that Beck’s best attack lowers the will of anyone it hits, so watch out.

You get the choice between the Ra Cailum and the Tower. I went with the Tower, though now that I think about it, it would be better to use Bright more often since he’s usable more often, what with the Tower being landlocked and Battle 7 seeming to be space locked.

Trowa spawns in the Wing Zero and you get 11 choices. Due to the space virus, a good number of our crew cannot be deployed. These are Uso, Kento, Hilde, Duo, Heero, Kamille, Fa, Koji, Sayaka, Jun, and Boss. I’ll talk about Trowa when we get his actual unit.

Our reinforcements spawn to the far west, so use Accel and flying units to intercept the eels before they can touch the power plant. Standing on their objective is fair game. Just focus on not letting Beck’s eels complete their objective and you’ll be fine.

Just as a note, during this stage I succeeded on the 20 kills between Hilde and Noin, so at least I don’t have to feed them kills anymore. Amuro still has a way to go however.

[Gaia and Godmars]
Somehow having as much animation here as it does in Z2, here’s Godmars. It’s strong, it’s pretty bulky for a Super, and it’s a bomb. If Godmars ever dies, it’s an instant game over. You were warned about the antiproton bomb. Besides the Game Over waiting to happen, Godmars’ other weakness is its lack of range, relying on Godfire to hit anything beyond 1 range. If you want to use it, heavily invest in its HP and Armor, especially the armor.
For the next while, Takeru will deploy in Gaia first, and in this game the condition for transforming Gaia into Godmars is to get its HP below 50%. You can even have it die and it’ll respawn as Godmars. Also, due to Takeru’s ESP skill, it’ll get larger than normal power increases as Takeru’s level increases.

The Gishin are attacking from the far south west. It’ll be a few turns until they get to the power plant area, so use this time to repair and resupply, either by putting the necessary mech inside of the battleship or putting them on top of the power plant for its 20% HP/EN regen. Regardless, DO NOT ATTACK the Bemborg. If it dies before everyone else, it’s game over. Just watch out for its attacks, they can sap EN or inflict some nasty debuffs.
