Got 15 units for the first half of this map. It’s the normal Ruina mooks that we all know and love at this point. And would you look at that, we start off above a nice forest. I see no reason not to turtle up in the forest and let them come to us. Normal strategies apply. This is also a two parter and all HP/EN/Ammo/SP are restored between parts, so don’t be too conservative.

Josh is still out of the picture, so no Forte Gigas yet. The game is teasing its existence until the next chapter…

The second half of this stage is different from Josh’s route. We have 10 turns to either kill every enemy (they’ll stick around if you kill Contagio early) or get Rim to that designated area. It may not seem like it, but 10 turns is plenty to kill every last one of them. For the exp and money, of course.

Enemy reinforcements do spawn in on turn 3, so watch out. Glacies is MIA so the only boss to worry about is Contagio.


As requested by a reader, here’s his mech, the Violaceum. I’ll be showing off new boss mechs every time they appear for the rest of the LP.

Contagio retreats at 20% (6900) HP, so either take advantage of that or try to kill him. Nothing a well Valor’d Stoner Sunshine or Final Godmars can’t do. He’ll also likely reach you well before this new wave of reinforcements can. I would recommend wiping him out ASAP since he’s a lot more dangerous than the mooks.
