Last time, a real American man joined THE BOYS. Not like that Neo-America man.
[Alternative Company, A Room]
Was there really a need for you to come to Earth?
I asked the same question myself, but Lady Haman is disappointed. Dekim is also getting antsy. Care to guess why?
I still intend on recapturing Amuro and Tiffa from THE BOYS.
And that’s not all. Kamille Bidan is still missing. Don’t get complacent just because you control Four Murasame.
Well well well. Glemy. It’s been a while.
Who’s that man standing behind you?
Chang Wufei. Dekim sent him to me as my assistant of sorts.
Assistant?
Instead of wasting time with this pointless chat, why don’t you attack THE BOYS? There’s no point in being a soldier who never produces results.
(Chang Wufei)
You brat…
Dekim sent me because you guys are utterly incompetent. If you can’t capture the Freeden, just kill them all.
That’s a bit much.
Apparently they call me evil.
Lord Glemy, it pains me to report that THE BOYS grow stronger every day. Compared to our Newtype capturing unit, we’re simply outclassed.
Are you making excuses?
Unfortunately, yes. Though we’re about to borrow three Newtype candidates from the Newtype Research Institute.
Let me introduce them. This is Demar Griffe, formerly known as the “The White Death”.
Heh heh heh…
(Demar Griffe)
The White Death, huh? Wasn’t Amuro Ray called something like that by Zeon during the One Year War?
I’m the White Death, not Devil!
Complain to Amuro, not me. Who are the other two?
The name’s Duett Langraph.
(Duett Langraph)
Back in the day his nickname was “The Shadow of the Eastern Front”.
And I’m Milra Draid. Though you might better know me as the “Immortal Killing Machine”.
(Milra Draid)
The three of them are Lieutenant Second Grades. We’ve promised to promote them two ranks if we succeed in defeating THE BOYS.
Do you think we can?
If they can’t kill me, I’ll kill them.
Yes, that’s how that works.
But you called the Newtype candidates right? Not actual Newtypes?
Rest assured, they’re as skilled as their nicknames say they are. Besides… My mount is fierce.
They say horses are naturally timid animals. Maybe that’s why you brothers keep running away.
(I want to kill him, brother…)
(Just leave him be. The bigger his ego, the harder it will crash down.)
(You’re right, brother…)
The main issue right now is locating their base. All we know is that it’s in Japan…
We can smoke them out. Bomb a city or whatever.
Then civilians will get caught up in it. It’d be a shame.
I’m rather fond of that plan.
…Um…
!? Who the hell are you!?
U-um… I’m…
Who is this small child!?
Put your gun away. It’s just a kid, right?
What’re our guards doing!? I’m getting to the bottom of this!
Is this child one of your Newtypes?
No. We’ve never seen this kid before.
You mean a child snuck in here?
…
That was fast.
…All the guards are eating dirt.
What!?
…I’m sorry. They said I shouldn’t be here, so… Well…
…Did you kill them all?
No, I didn’t kill them… Though you might want to take them to the doctor as soon as possible…
You little brat!
Um, I’m on an errand. I was told to, um, help everyone here.
Who sent you?
If I say their name, I’ll get scolded. Um, please let me help you attack THE BOYS.
Do you even know what you’re asking?
Yes… Please…
What should we do?
How do you plan to bring them out?
Um… I was going to use this…
[Explosions]
W-what the hell is that? The enemy!?
It’s that thing!!
W-what the hell is that monster!?
It’s the… Devil Gundam. It’s my…slave.
[More explosions]
Brother, there’s another one over there!
[Even more explosions]
Another one in that direction too!
Um, should I bring more of them out? I have four or five.
Wait. That’s enough. Stop it! Are you trying to destroy this lab?
Then will you let me help you?
Alright alright. Just stop them already!
[Alternative Company, Hallway]
..Laria!
Despinis! How did it go?
(Lalia)
…I can do it if I try…
Thank goodness. If it didn’t work, I would have…
…Lalia, how long do we have to keep doing this?
I don’t know. But we have to keep going.
(Who’s that boy?)
[Alternative Company, A Room]
Is it okay to work with a child like that?
A child you say… Did that look like an ordinary child?
Not really…
(She appeared without me noticing her and has the Devil Gundam as her slave. There’s no chance she’s a normal child.)
Lord Glemy!
Are you tracking her movements?
I’m sorry, but we lost her.
[Stabbed]
Gwaaaaa!
You’re a soldier goddammit! Why did you stab him!?
We don’t need any more useless people.
Fufufu.
[GEAR HQ, Hangar]
What do you think? I call it the Excellence Flyer Frame.
A Frame for aerial combat, eh? Though I can’t give my proper thoughts until I test it out.
Try using it during the next mission then.
Alright, but I’ve never done actual aerial combat before.
Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing. We’ll support you with our own air frames!
You never know, we might be getting support as well.
All the better! With each battle we overcome together, our friendship grows stronger. UWOOOO! I’m fired up!
I mean risking my life for friendship is a bit…
I said don’t you worry ‘bout a thing. Main characters don’t die!
Who’s the main character here? You’ve been watching too much Gekiganger!
quote:
(Friendship… We’re people who shouldn’t even exist here… We shouldn’t…)
More importantly, was a Flyer Frame part of the original plan?
Nope. It’s completely original.
It’s extremely impressive for someone your age. I heard you designed everything about the Excellence except for the engine.
Yeah, well…
(...Sorry. I’m not playing fair, am I? I’m using information from five years in the future…)
I’m younger than you dang it! Don’t think you’ll beat me for much longer.
Kid, you said your specialty is modifications, non? Modifying and designing from scratch are completely different.
Not as different as you think. True modifications can’t be done unless you have a complete understanding of the base design.
[GEAR HQ, A Room]
Hey Tiffa, what are you looking at? …A school admissions pamphlet?
Yes it is. Tiffa is about 15 years old, yes? She’s only been in labs, never in a proper school.
I see. Going to school, eh?
I haven’t decided yet. But I’m not really doing anything at the moment…
You don’t have to force yourself. I never went to school and just look at me now.
Tiffa, it would be a mighty shame if you ended up like this poor monkey here. I reckon you should go to school.
I agree. Garrod, why don’t you join her in a school that Nergal funds? It’ll bring you even closer together.
What!? I’m fine. I’m a bit too old for schooling anyways. Never been good at studying.
If it weren’t for studying, school wouldn’t be so bad.
You’re a student, right? You don’t look like you go to school though.
Boss and I also go to school. But the building was destroyed by an alien attack, so it’s closed for now.
No one knows when it’ll reopen.
What about Ruri?
I’m…homeschooled.
So Ginga, Hokuto, and Eris are the only ones here still going to school.
[Alarm]
The enemy has appeared in Hoshimicho. The type is… Death Army!
The Death Army…
The Devil Gundam!!
[Hoshimicho, School]
[Beeping]
(An emergency!?)
(We’re under attack!? But we’re still in class.)
(This class will end soon. We’ll head out as soon as our break starts. Leave it to the others until then,)
(But our lunchtime…)
(Which is more important, lunch or defending the Earth?)
(Both.)
Chapter 11: My Mount is Fierce
…THE BOYS, please hurry… Otherwise the damage will keep increasing… So many people will die…
There’s flying enemies too. Perfect to test out the Flyer Frame!
GEAR or the Preventers couldn’t detect them getting this close?
Geez, why are we ever here in the first place!
Quit complaining. Let’s go!
Excellence Flyer, Standby… GO!
Choose 6 units to deploy. The Shuffle Alliance and Excellence Flyer are mandatory.
Speaking of which.
[Excellence Flyer Frame]
It’s alright. Definitely more agile than the Striker and Gunner frames, but it’s a bit on the weaker side. On terrestrial stages, I would still recommend the Gunner Frame with a Minovsky Craft part.
[Cell Fighter]
This and its late game upgrade will probably be your resupplier of choice (unless you’re a Boss fan). Not only can it fly, resupply, and actually evade attacks, but it’s the only machine that can change out Dendoh’s batteries. If you’re going to use Dendoh, you pretty much have to send this guy out since it’s the only way to recover its EN (besides hiding in a battleship for a few turns).
I mean the Devil Gundam is right there and the Death Army are a bunch of chumps. You can just sit still and wait for them to come to you or meet them halfway. Just mind your HP.
Nice.
Once the first enemy falls…
THE BOYS are here. Please hurry up, Glemy…
The Devil Gundam has a pilot! When you first battle it…
That Devil Gundam is different from the others.
It has a pilot! Who is it!?
What!? Wait… No, it couldn’t be…!?
Ugh… Domon…
(Undefeated of the East)
Master!
Undefeated of the East!
Master Asia!?
Impossible!!
I-it has to be. Master Asia was killed in our battle against the Devil Gundam…
Something’s wrong with the Shuffle dudes.
That’s… The Undefeated of the East, Master Asia. Domon’s martial arts master!
But how is he inside the Devil Gundam?
He’s supposed to be dead…
Begone, spirit!
It’s a ghost?
In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit…
Shut up already!
Ugh…
He’s starting to move again!
Master. Master! Are you really Master!?
Y… You… You stupid disciple!
Domon!
(Allenby Beardsley)
Allenby! Why are you here?
No time to explain. That Undefeated of the East is the real deal!
But… What should we do!?
New unit, let’s go.
[GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam]
It’s more like Gundam Maxster than the other Shuffle Alliance Gundams. By that I mean it’s an all-rounder, but not great in a specific field. It can also fly, but has the B in air so land it as much as possible.
Since this Devil Gundam is piloted, it has higher stats than its peers. It will be a lot harder to hit without using Aim or Focus and will actually deal quite a bit of damage if it hits you (which it probably will). Try to take down the other enemies before focusing on this threat.
Master Asia’s Devil Gundam retreats at 30% HP (4500). If you can get Domon’s will high enough to hit Super Mode, it should be easy to take down.
Ggggghhhhhh… D-Damn you…
Master! Wait!
[Devil Gundam either escapes or explodes]
Master… What the hell happened…
Ah, we’re finally free.
Let’s go, Ginga. Dendoh, launch!
Now, who’s ready to get their butt kicked?
It’s already over.
Oh come on! We had to skip lunch to make it here.
No wait, enemy mobile suits are approaching.
As promised, I lured them out.
Sure, you did that. But have you found their base?
Oh…
Even if you did lure them out, what good is it if we don’t know where they’re coming from!?
I-I-I’m sorry!
…
Is that Wufei!?
Where is Amuro Ray, the White Devil?
What’s with that guy and his strong hatred?
Let’s begin the next stage.
Alright, it’s all you now.
Let’s begin the hunt!
(Also Duett Langraph)
THE BOYS, show me your justice!
Isn’t that the Gundam that appeared in Tokyo?
Heero.
Heero, you showed up after all.
…
Firstly…
[GEAR Fighter Dendoh Leo Circle]
It’s uhhh…better than base Dendoh at least. Unicorn Drill has better utility with its damage reduction shield. Leo Circle doesn’t have any unique skills/abilities. It does have a mid-ranged post move attack at least, but this game incentives defensive play.
It’s a free-for-all of named enemies. We’ve got Wufei, the three Newtypes from X, the Frost Brothers, and that roach Rakan. Group up and let the grunts attack you. Once they’re mostly dealt with, take out the named guys one at a time. They’re not really hard, just stronger than the nameless grunts. Don’t be afraid to use spirits on them.

And here are their fierce mounts, if you were curious. Wufei in the XXXG-01S2 Altron Gundam, Demar in the NRX-007 Correl, Duett in the NRX-011 Britova, and Milra in the NRX-010 Gable. The Altron Gundam has decent ranges, but weak armor. The Correl has almost negligible armor, but is extremely hard to hit and only has a melee attack. The Britova has average stats but decent range on its attack. The Gable is a massive lad, having insane amounts of armor, a strong melee attack, and an i-field, but it cannot avoid attacks to save its life.
Thankfully, none of them retreat. Not even the Frost Brothers this time.
And who could forget boss dialogues.
I need you gone. You don’t deserve the title of White Devil.
If you want that nickname, it’s yours.
I don’t need your pity!
I’ve always wanted to fight you!
Wufei, hit the self-destruct switch.
And after they clash…
I’ll say it again. Press the self-destruct switch.
You’re so persistent!
You leave us no choice. We’re “fateful rivals” after all.
Not at all. We’re “fateful rivals” after all.
Don’t just decide that on your own!
(Olba or Shagia’s line plays depending on which one you fight, and only once for both brothers.)
I couldn’t fight such strong opponents in Africa. I’m having a blast!
W-what’s with this guy!?
He’s huge…
Let’s begin a fight to the death.
If you Battery Change Dendoh, a little cutscene plays.

None of the bosses have any death quotes and the map is instantly over once all enemy mobile suits are defeated.
[GEAR HQ, Command Room]
Those Neo Zeeks are stubborn as hell.
They know how strong and terrifying Newtypes are as fighters. They won’t ever give up.
And they don’t mind dragging civilians into the fight.
We’re guilty of that too.
…
Great, everyone’s here. Perfect time to introduce her. This is Allenby Beardsley, one of our comrades.
Nice to meetcha.
Are you also part of the Shuffle Alliance?
Not officially, but I guess you could call me the de facto sixth member…
Think of her as one of our substitutes.
Awww. Come on, Domon. Don’t just call me a substitute. It’s normal for groups of five to get a sixth member these days!
That’s a different franchise…
Anyway, I’m more interested in the design of your Nobel Gundam.
Cute, isn’t it?
It’s a real beaut, that’s for sure.
So what did you mean by that Master is the real one?
I went to Lantau Island by myself to chase after a Devil Gundam.
Isn’t that the island where you defeated it once and for all?
Yes. After I finished snooping around, I stopped by Master Asia’s grave. I was going to offer some flowers, but…
[Lantau Island, Grave of The Undefeated of the East]
Phew. The wars just don’t stop. I’m sure you’re pissed in the afterlife, Master Asia…
…
W-what? A little girl?
…Arise. Lend me your strength…
(What are you doing… Huh!?)
…
Welcome back from Hell, Master Asia…
…
[GEAR HQ, Command Room]
So Master Asia and that little girl headed towards the sea, where a Devil Gundam was waiting for them.
A g-g-ghost!
Stop it. I’m no good with ghost stories.
I was stunned… But by the time I came to my senses, the Devil Gundam and Master Asia were gone, and the grave was empty.
But you still tracked them down.
Yes. And here I am. It’s all true!
Calm down. No one’s calling you a liar.
I’m sorry. Even though all that happened, we never observed any of this.
You didn’t even detect the Devil Gundam showing up here. I guess the Preventer’s information gathering is a bit limited.
That’s mean.
I don’t really care what you think, but yes, we did miss them… At least now I have some evidence that shows I’m doing my job properly.
What’s that?
Compiled reports from Devil Gundam sightings.
At first, they were all over the place, but recently they’ve become more coordinated.
So someone is controlling the Devil Gundams.
Is it The Undefeated of the East, Master Asia?
It’s possible.
But what about the girl who brought Master Asia back to life?
She looked about 7 or 8 years old, I think. A bit fragile, but she looked like she’s only just got out of the hospital…
It seems like she’s the necromancer behind all of this.
[Alternative Company, A Room]
…W-what the heck? Put your gun down.
You certainly lured out THE BOYS with that Devil Gundam thing, but why? Who are you?
I’m your accomplice.
Just drop it. Pointing a gun at a child is in bad taste.
Hmph. Even a child can pull a trigger to kill someone.
…I-I’ll be back!
Wait!
[Alternative Company, Hallway]
…She got away. Who the hell is she?
Shall we lock down the lab?
Don’t bother. She’s long gone.
Poor thing. She was scared out of her mind…
…What’s up with Duett? He seems different now than when he was fighting.
To make a long story short, he has a split personality. He has his normal, calm side, and a cruel side that only appears when he’s in combat…
[GEAR HQ, A Room]
You’ve decided against attending school? Why?
It wouldn’t work out… Um…
…I can’t go either. It would be terrible if Neo Zeon attacked the school…
…That too.
I agree. We’re keeping our identities secret, so we’re fine at least.
Yes. That’s why this whole thing is a secret.
…So I have to keep lying to my mom…
(...Hokuto…)
What’s with all these frowns!? Maybe it’s a secret for now, but it’s not any of your faults!
She’s right. Just don’t think about it that much.
[GEAR HQ, Command Room]
…That’s a tough pill to swallow. It’s always adults who start these wars, but it’s the children who suffer.
(Bright Noa) (He’s on the phone)
Many of our pilots are kids as well.
In terms of pilot’s ages, THE BOYS aren’t beating any allegations.
Most of them are underage.
We’ve also lost most of our pilots and are forced to rely on teenagers we’ve scouted locally.
By the way, when will the Nahel Argama return to Earth?
Not yet… It’s currently being repaired in the colony Shangri-La.
…Adults sure are incompetent.
Seriously…
[GEAR HQ, Hangar]
Are you leaving again?
Yes. Thank you for the repairs and supplies.
And he’s gone. Is he a Preventer too?
No, he’s just a collaborator…
(The bigger problem is Wufei. Why did he join Neo Zeon…)
