[GX-9900-DV Gundam X Divider]
It’s better than the GX in every single way except it’s lacking the Satellite Cannon. Your choice as the player comes from deciding whether to use the Divider for its consistency across all will ranges, or the GX for the Satellite Cannon at 130+ will. You cannot swap frames in the middle of stages. Also it’s worth noting that the GX and Divider have opposite terrain rankings, so use the GX on the ground and the Divider in the air. I tend to favor the Divider, at least until the GX gets a very important upgrade later. If you’re planning on using the Divider, it’s worth investing money into its EN, moreso if you’re going to get the Gundam X secret later in the game.
[RX-178+FXA-050D Super Gundam (and RX-178 Gundam Mk-II)]
A decent mobile suit with plenty of mid to long range options. It can transform into the G-Flyer for mobility and it can purge its equipment manually or when destroyed and fight as the Gundam Mk-II. The Mk-II itself is pretty bad, but still stronger than a core fighter, so it’s useful in a pinch. Unlike other SRW games, the G-Defenser is not a separate unit, so the Super Gundam only gets a single pilot.
Group up and start heading east. There’s a lot of Zeeks that need to be taken care of on the way to the boss. You won’t find good terrain until you reach the city proper.

Now for Patulia. In short, it’s kinda insane. It has high HP, high armor, I-Field, and a powerful long range attack. It also retreats at 30% HP (5400). Make sure to use those defensive spirits and don’t bother attacking with any beam weaponry. Super Robots like Neo Getter-2, Combattler, Zambot, and Daitarn are your best bet.
I say it’s insane, but it goes down easily enough. The plot continues when the Patulia is shot down or retreats, but any remaining Zeeks will still need to be taken care of (besides Ennil),
