New unit first, then a new mechanic!


[Knight Alex]
Average all around, especially for an SD Gundam unit. Alex’s main features is a repair module and the special command “Lavium”. When Knight Alex is at 130+ will and, by using 50 MP, all units in a 2 square area around him will have their HP fully restored.


Introducing Tacticians! They’ve tweaked the tactician system from UX, so no one is as generally broken as Zhuge Liang. After this stage, during intermission, you choose a Tactician to give your entire army a passive buff. This buff is then strengthened over the course of the battle as you get more and more kills and accumulate TSP (Tactician Points). This resets after every chapter. Over the course of the story, not only will you get more Tacticians, but more buffs will be added to each one as well. Also some secrets require specific Tacticians on specific stages.

As shown in the image, Knight Alex is the Tactician for this stage. His bonus increases melee weapon power by 5%. As this gets upgraded, this buff increases to 10% and 15%. After this stage, I won’t point out when my Tactician of choice’s buff levels up.

Now for the map. Just survive for now and don’t let anyone die. There’s a massive wall right behind the group and you can use its terrain if you want.

Sir Knight and Fencer Zeta are alive… I’m sure ZZ and Nu are out there somewhere too. Come at me, Mardoul Army! I am Knight Alex, Commander of the Argus Knights! Today, you stand before your superior!

Gorg also got a new attack, the Modified 180mm Cannon. It’s massive and has a range of 7, turning Gorg into a decent sniper if needed.

To think they’d excavate an Armored Soldier like that. White Valley must be crushed! I’ll start with you!

So these are Yuu’s friends! I’ve never seen so many different Armored Soldiers before! But I’m riding Earst’s savior right now! I won’t fall behind!

A close ranged fighter who’s more dodgy than you’d think considering its alright bulk. Its only downside is its severe lack of range. It can only hit units up to 3 squares away. Pair him with another close ranged fighter like Knight Alex.

Fun fact and correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Galient’s whip sword is the first whip sword ever in fiction.

The objective right now is only to kill Hy Shaltat. Chances are, Gorg, Riddhe, and Knight Alex are about to be overwhelmed, so rush forward or pull them back. Move together as a group and be methodical in wiping out enemy squads. The only units that’re a Game Over condition are Jojo and Alto, so make sure they don’t die for whatever reason.

Luca and Klan are also fighting against us for some reason. They have extremely long ranges, so rush in close. Defeat one and the other will leave. You can try to take them out together with a single MAP, but I don’t have time for that myself.

It’s strange… Even though my head’s all fuzzy, I naturally know how to fight. I think Galient gave me the power to become Earst’s savior! I’ll use this power to bring peace back to the planet!


At some point, Knight Alex’s Tactician Level went up. This is the screen that appears when that happens. Level 2 unlocks at 30 points, and level 3 unlocks at 60.
