Abra analysis
With a flat 15 stat increase across the board, Kadabra is better in practically every way. The second you evolve from an Abra, you'll gain Confusion, with Psybeam soon after. This is all you'll really need until you get Psychic at level 38, so you're off to a strong start. And because you go through the same 15 point boost when you evolve again, it means Kadabra is still perfectly usable throughout the entire game. While there's not much besides Psychic moves, you at least have the elemental punches for coverage and then Recover off the damage you get. If you survive that is, since goddamn you are pretty freaking frail. But that shouldn't stop the speedy bullet train wrecking all your shit.
