Rattata analysis
The large teeth rodent is pretty simple, good Attack and Speed, mediocre anything else. It has a good STAB in Hyper Fang and then you teach it the other physical moves you can get your hands on. And that's about it. While it isn't exactly frail, it still can't take too many hits and it can get slammed by Fighting moves on its weaker physical side. Its low HP also makes it tough, as well as the numerous special moves it can learn despite its terrible Special Attack. But that's about it, it's what you expect it to be and it does fine. Woo.
