Flittering through the night, this large bat has good Attack and Speed as well as an alright defensive typing and mediocre Special Attack. You do get Flying STAB at level 30, but Poison STAB is nowhere to be seen. It's not a huge deal, as there's a few moves to use, such as the usual Normal moves, as well as Steel Wing. You're thankfully past the point you're relying on Leech Life and Bite for attacks, but the moves you'll end up with won't be all that great. Make sure to evolve it for increased stats, as well as the ability to learn Fly. That's probably the biggest benefit, cause what use is a Flying type that can't Fly? It also doesn't matter when it evolves, cause it'll learn the same moves at the same level anyway.
