Charmander analysis
With a bigger flame and an even bigger temperament, this fire lizard has some good Speed and attacking stats and is also pretty fragile overall. You'll be relying on Ember for a while, but when you get Flamethrower is when things get fun. You also get Dragon Rage, but by level 48 it's definitely too little, too late. As Attack is at a good number, there's various physical moves you can learn, the Normal TMs, a few Ground moves, Iron Tail, the usual stuff. The only other special moves you can learn is Dragonbreath, which gives you some coverage when Dragon resists you. But that's about it, it's enough to get you by and hopefully take a few things out before you yourself fall because you're weak to a fair few types. You'll be fine. Really.
