Chinchou analysis
Down in the far depths, this bulky angler might not be too impressive an attacker, but it's on the fringe of "eh, good enough". With an excellent typing, good moves and the ability to survive a lot of hits, it's an excellent choice to hit a whole load of super effective special moves. Its main weakness of physical frailty is backed up by an impressively large HP stat to mitigate the damage. You'll be using Spark and Surf for a while, but you don't need too much else, tutored Ice Beam is just a bonus. However, that really is about it, unless you want to try your luck at Rain Dance and Thunder, which does benefit both STABs, so it works fine. Its Attack is too low to bother with, so there's no need to look at physical TMs for options, just stick with what you've got and you'll be just fine.
