Houndour analysis
Well, uh, darn. The main problem with talking about Houndour a lot is that it barely changes in its evolution. Its stats are also boosted similarly, it learns the exact same moves through level, with the only changes being the level is learns them, as is the norm. As far as I can see, the only new move it learns is Hyper Beam, again, as is the norm. But this is all far from a bad thing. Houndour was good, so Houndoom is good-er! While it's still pretty damn frail, it can survive a special attack or two and hit back with even more powerful STABs, or slightly less strong physical coverage. If the first stage hadn't been all that great, then barely changing that would result in an evolution that's also pretty bad. But thankfully, this line avoids that and works just fine. Have fun with it. In the postgame, just before the end of the game to really make use of it. You didn't think it'd be all sunshine and roses, right? Hahaha. No, trust Game Freak to fuck it up somehow.
