Totodile analysis
When your happy chappy crocodile gets bigger, it gets better. Croconaw is an improvement to Totodile in every way, for better and for worse. The good stats stay good, while the bad stats stay bad. Which isn't too bad, with some strong Normal moves, you can smack things around quite a bit, but your lacking Special Attack means your STAB won't have the necessary kick, though it's still fine, but it also means that Bite won't do all too much. And more than likely you'll be going after the opponent anyway, with your average Speed. But with the fine defenses you have, you can take a few hits here and there, so you'll be fine. Still gotta wait for the good moves, since you'll have to wait until the third evolution, but that won't take much time at all, so you'll soon be in prime fighting form to deal with the crushing difficulty.
