Hoothoot analysis
This wise old owl is, from first glance, a very good Special tank, as well as being able to dish out some good Special damage and be somewhat speedy about it. But it doesn't really work when it can only learn two Special moves, Dream Eater and Thief, since they're a bit rubbish. So that means you have to rely on your much weaker Attack stat and even then, you get a fair amount of status and support moves via level up to ensure that you're not dying anytime soon, but don't have much in the way of retaliating. Still, you've got plenty of moves to choose from and while the opponent isn't dying anytime soon, neither are you, so it's fine. Unless they hit you with a physical move, in which case you're screwed. So while I can't recommend this Pokemon, it's cool as hell and it's at least interesting.
