So you've got the nice and early crocodile. And what a boost it gains upon evolution, with its excellent Attack and... Defense? Well okay. Your Special Attack isn't amazing, but you have some great options to go with it, like Surf and Ice Punch, that it isn't really a concern. It just won't hit as hard as you think. On the physical side, it gets all the nice TMs you need, as well as Slash at level 38. Aside from that, the level up movepool is pretty dire, with only Water Gun and Bite to keep you company, so you have to rely on other moves to get your through. At least you've got a good variety. Only unfortunate thing is that you're pretty slow and susceptible to Electric and Grass moves, but with the right moves at your disposal, there's very little that can stand in your way.
